On February 5th, Cyprus is expecting cloudy weather and light rain in the morning

According to the Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Monday, February 5th, the region is under the influence of weak low pressure. Frosts and snowfalls are retreating, and the sun will come out after noon.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be cloudy, with isolated rain in the morning, mainly in the west and in the mountains. After noon, the weather will gradually become sunny. The wind will be mainly southwest and northwest, ranging from light to moderate.

According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature during the day will reach up to 18°C in inland areas, up to 20°C on the coasts, and up to 6°C in mountainous areas.

By evening, the weather will be mostly clear. The air temperature will drop to around 6°C in inland areas, to 7°C on the southern and eastern coasts, to 9°C on the western and northern coasts, and to 1°C in mountainous areas, where local frosts are expected.

It is also noted that the snow depth in the Troodos Mountains at the time of the bulletin release was 21 cm.

It is expected that on Tuesday the temperature will rise slightly more and will fluctuate significantly above average climatic values, while on Wednesday and Thursday it will gradually decrease.
