Rains and thunderstorms are approaching Cyprus: weather on December 5th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, December 5th, the region is affected by weak low pressure. Today's weather will be cloudy, with a thin layer of dust in the atmosphere.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime temperature today will reach up to 25°C in the inland areas, around 24°C on the northern and southeast coasts, up to 23°C on the other coasts, and down to 15°C in mountainous regions. The wind will blow from the northeast to the southeast, and then from the west and southwest to the northwest. The sea will be somewhat turbulent.

By evening and night, overcast weather is expected with occasional showers or even thunderstorms, mainly on the northern and eastern coasts. The air temperature will drop to around 11°C in the inland areas, 13°C on the coasts, and 6°C in mountainous regions.

On Wednesday, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected, on Thursday - localized showers mainly in the west, and on Friday - local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Over the next three days, the temperature will gradually decrease and fluctuate near the average climatic values or even slightly above them.
