Man Arrested for Causing Hotel Lobby Destruction in Paphos
A man vacationing in Paphos has been arrested after he caused extensive damage to a hotel lobby in the resort town.
According to Michalis Nikolaou, Assistant Director of the Paphos Police Operations Department, the incident took place on Saturday shortly before midnight. The man reportedly caused significant damage to the hotel’s lobby, creating a disturbance that alarmed other guests.
When police arrived on the scene, the man continued to behave aggressively, surrounded by broken hotel property. After he attacked a police officer, he was promptly arrested.
The man, who was visiting Cyprus on holiday, now faces charges for intentional property damage.
