Mass brawl in Ipsonas: five people in custody, police searching for 15 participants

A brutal mass brawl occurred at a pub in the Ipsonas area of Limassol, involving Greek Cypriots and a group of Indian nationals. The reasons for the conflict remain unknown, but the incident escalated into a clash involving knives and sticks, as well as damage to the establishment's property. Police are continuing their investigation and searching for additional participants.
On Sunday morning, the Limassol District Court ordered five suspects to be remanded in custody for up to six days. According to the investigation, the conflict began with a verbal altercation, after which one of the parties called for reinforcements, and another 10–15 people arrived at the scene, leading to the mass brawl.
As a result of the clash, five people were injured; one of them, a 29-year-old man, remains in the hospital, while the others were discharged after receiving treatment. Police are already searching for about 15 suspected participants and are awaiting new witness statements to establish a full picture of what happened.
