Rainy Weather Persists in Cyprus on August 27
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass are influencing the region on Tuesday, August 27.
In the morning, localized cloud buildup is expected in the mountains, inland areas, and the southeast, bringing isolated showers and occasional thunderstorms.
The weather service forecasts that daytime temperatures will reach up to 37°C in inland areas, up to 31°C on the west coast, around 33°C along the rest of the coast, and up to 28°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening and overnight, periods of increased low cloud cover are expected in some areas. Light fog may form in the early morning hours.
Temperatures will drop to 21°C in inland areas, 23°C along the coast, and 18°C in the mountains.
In the coming days, the weather will be mostly clear, although some areas will experience increased cloudiness, which may bring isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.
Temperatures will slightly decrease and remain close to average climate values until Thursday, before rising slightly on Friday.
