On February 21, clear weather with showers and snow in the mountains is expected in Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Wednesday, February 21, the region is still affected by weak low pressure.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, but later cloudiness will increase in some places, which may lead to isolated showers in the mountains and inland. It is not excluded that snowfall may occur on the highest peaks of Troodos.

According to the meteorological forecast service, the daytime air temperature today will reach up to 18°C in inland areas, up to 19°C on the coast, and up to 10°C in the mountains.

By evening, the weather will be predominantly clear. The air temperature will drop to about 6°C in inland areas, to 9°C along the coast, and to 1°C in mountainous areas.

The temperature will gradually rise slightly and continue to fluctuate above the average climatic values.
