December 18: Clear Skies Across Cyprus, Frost Expected in the Mountains
The Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus has reported that on Tuesday, December 17, the region will experience weak high-pressure conditions.
In the morning, the weather is expected to be mostly clear, though occasional increases in cloud cover may occur in some areas.
According to the forecast, daytime temperatures will reach approximately 18°C inland, 19°C along the coast, and 9°C in mountainous areas.
During the evening, the weather will remain predominantly clear, with patches of low cloud forming in certain locations. Later at night and in the early morning, light fog is expected in some areas, particularly in inland and eastern regions. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 6°C inland, 9°C along the coast, and 3°C in the mountains, where frost is expected to form.
The outlook for Thursday and Friday indicates mostly clear skies, although some areas may experience periods of increased cloud cover.
Temperatures will remain stable through Saturday, staying close to the seasonal average.
