Cloudy Weather Expected in Cyprus on December 11

The Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus reports that weak high pressure will affect the region on Wednesday, December 11. A relatively cold air mass is expected to arrive starting Friday.

This morning, the weather will be mostly cloudy with medium to high cloud coverage.

Daytime temperatures are forecast as follows:

• Inland: Around 20°C
• Northern coast: Up to 22°C
• Other coastal areas: Approximately 21°C
• Mountainous regions: About 13°C

Tonight and into the night, high cloud coverage will continue, with occasional increases in low clouds over western areas. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to:

• Inland: Around 10°C
• Southern and eastern coasts: Around 12°C
• Northern coast: Approximately 13°C
• Western coast: Around 14°C
• Mountainous areas: Around 6°C

On Thursday, localized increases in cloud coverage could lead to isolated showers, primarily in the northeast, as a stronger westerly airflow impacts the region.

Temperatures are expected to gradually decline until Saturday, settling near or slightly below seasonal averages.
