Crashing Waves Film Screenings
The "Crashing Waves" film screening program is a curated project of the VIMA Art Fair 2026, presented in collaboration with the Rialto Theatre. The video works included in the program function as rhythmic interventions, moving away from traditional narrative towards a cinema of resonance. The films embody fluidity, drifting through memory, landscapes, and layers of history.
The program features works by artists such as Adham Faramawi, Valentin Noujaïm, Tomiyasu Radin, and others. The screen here acts as a shoreline, allowing visual images and sounds to permeate the viewer's subconscious.
Project curator — Kostas Stasinopoulos. Producers: Lex Grigoriou, Anya Masalova, Anastasia Shamshurova. Program duration — 120 minutes. Films are shown with English subtitles.
