In the TRNC, the Police Strengthening Fund for Cypriot Turks (POLVAK) has been established
In Northern Cyprus, the creation of the Police Strengthening Fund for Cypriot Turks (POLVAK) has been announced. The inaugural meeting of the organization took place on December 25.
It is noted that the goal of establishing the fund is to "strengthen the police organization, meet the evolving and rapidly changing needs of modern times, and bring the police organization to a level that can meet the requirements of the era."
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of POLVAK, the General Director of the Police, Kasım Kuni, expressed satisfaction with the establishment of the fund and stated that the creation of the fund is a historic event for the TRNC police. He wished the fund to be beneficial to the police department and the TRNC as a whole.
