TRNC Permits Fuel Imports from All Countries Except Two
Northern Cyprus has authorized the import of fuel from foreign countries, with the exception of two.
According to a decision made by the Council of Ministers and published in the Official Gazette, fuel may now be imported into the TRNC from any country except Turkey and Israel.
The Council of Ministers decided to permit fuel imports from countries other than Turkey and Israel to ensure a reliable supply and adherence to quality standards in accordance with current legislation.
“The Council of Ministers has decreed that authorized fuel-importing companies may source fuel products from any country, except Turkey and Israel, to ensure supply security and compliance with legal and quality standards,” the document states.
