A major fire broke out in an old cinema in the Turkish-Cypriot quarter of Limassol. As a result of the incident, the building's ceiling collapsed completely, and a neighboring house was seriously damaged.

The fire started in the old Apollo cinema. Authorities were concerned as the fire began in a densely populated area.

Residents of the neighboring house evacuated before the firefighters arrived. Police temporarily closed nearby streets for public safety during the firefighting operation.
