New bus stops to open in Kyrenia next week

Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul announced that work is being completed on three bus stops in the city, which are planned to be finished by the end of this week and put into operation next week.
According to him, at the eastern stop near Öğretmen Evi, the entry/exit scheme was redesigned without cutting down trees, and the pedestrian path behind it did not need to be touched. At the western stop, the organization of the adjacent parking area near the shops is also being revised so that the sidewalk remains continuous for pedestrians. The third location was expanded with access onto a plot of land (with the owner’s consent) to improve waiting conditions and ease traffic heading west along Semih Sancar Caddesi.
The mayor also noted that after the completion of procurement procedures, new modern shelters will be installed at all three stops.
