Seven operators of an online casino call center have been arrested in Kyrenia
In Kyrenia, seven operators of an illegal betting and gambling website's call center have been arrested. The support for the online casino's operations was conducted from two different apartments.
As part of the operation carried out by the police in two separate houses in Kyrenia, the following individuals were detained: S.A., 27 years old; L.Y., 47 years old; O.B.O, 30 years old; F.K, 31 years old; T.K., 32 years old; D.O., 31 years old; and F.Z.D., 27 years old.
They are suspected of "providing online support and financial services to an illegal betting and gambling website through the internet."
All seven detainees have been arrested by the Financial Crimes Unit. Police investigation is ongoing.
