In Iskele, a drunk driver caused an accident while trying to reverse upon seeing a police patrol

In Iskele at around 02:00, on one of the local roads, a 29-year-old man, M.D., who had 83 mg of alcohol in his system, attempted to reverse upon seeing a police checkpoint and triggered an accident.
According to the police, the man was reversing carelessly and collided with a vehicle moving in the same direction, driven by a 34-year-old woman, Y.L. No one was injured, and the damage was limited to the vehicles involved.
The driver, M.D., was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and causing a traffic accident. The investigation is ongoing.
