School Bus Driver Fined in Güzelyurt for Overcrowding

Northern Cyprus police launched an investigation following a video shared on social media showing a school bus on the Güzelyurt — Mevlevi route carrying passengers beyond its capacity, including some standing.
Officers from the Güzelyurt traffic police unit identified the driver. Following the inspection, he was issued a fine of 9,092 Turkish Liras and 10 penalty points for violating traffic regulations.
