Children's festival GABFEST 2026 to take place in Gönyeli, Alayköy, and Yenikent

The Municipality of Gönyeli–Alayköy has presented the program for the children's festival GABFEST 2026, which will be held across several areas of the city simultaneously.

According to Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu, the festival will cover Gönyeli, Alayköy, Yenikent, and Yılmazköy. Dozens of events have been prepared for children and families, including workshops, shows, tournaments, concerts, and play zones.

Festival program:
• May 21 — events at Çiftlik Sokak Park in Yılmazköy
• May 22 — cortege, dance shows, and performances at Yalçın Park
• May 23 — chess tournament at Gönyeli SAM
• May 24 — cycling and creative workshops, DJ set, and Sinan Güzen live on stage in Alayköy
• June 5 — kite festival and Simge concert in Yenikent

Guests can also look forward to:

• inflatable playgrounds;
• face painting;
• free coloring/drawings;
• mascots;
• children's treats;
• various creative zones and activities.

The municipality noted that the festival aims to develop urban family culture and create a comfortable environment for children.
