New Yıldız Sanat Parkı public park to open soon in Çatalköy
The Çatalköy–Esentepe Municipality has announced that the construction of the new Yıldız Sanat Parkı public space has reached its final stage.
Work on the project began in August 2025 and is scheduled for completion in March 2026. The municipality emphasized that all construction costs are covered by its own budget, without external financing.
Mayor Ceyhun Kırok noted that the new park will become an important public space for the residents of Çatalköy and is part of the strategy to develop the district's infrastructure.
According to him, Yıldız Sanat Parkı is being created as a modern place for relaxation and socializing. The project includes landscaped areas, walking paths, seating zones, and improved spaces that will be used for social and cultural events.
The municipality expects that the new park will become one of the main points of attraction in the village and will contribute to the development of social life in the area.
