Turkish Airlines Cancels Flights to Several Middle Eastern Countries
Turkish Airlines has announced the cancellation of flights to several Middle Eastern countries due to the closure of parts of the region's airspace.
According to Yahya Üstün, the airline's Senior Vice President of Media Relations:
Flights to the following countries are cancelled until March 2:
- Iran
- Iraq
- Syria
- Lebanon
- Jordan
Flights to the following countries are cancelled for February 28:
- Qatar
- Kuwait
- Bahrain
- United Arab Emirates
- Oman
The company noted that the airspace situation is being monitored in real-time, and further cancellations may occur. Passengers can check the latest updates on the official Turkish Airlines website under the "Flight Status" section.
