Goods from Turkey May Receive 'Made in EU' Status
The European Commission has presented a draft of a new law titled the "Industrial Acceleration Act." According to the document, goods produced in EU partner countries could be considered products of "Made in EU" level.
This could provide an advantage to companies operating in Turkey. Their products will be able to enter the European market more easily and compete with European manufacturers.
Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that this decision could strengthen economic ties between Turkey and the European Union. According to him, Turkish companies will also be able to participate in public tenders within EU countries.
If the law is passed, it will affect many industries, including the production of steel, cement, aluminum, automobiles, batteries, and renewable energy equipment.
