The population of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has been announced
According to the president, 410,000 residents live in the northern part of the island.
Responding to a journalist from the United Kingdom who inquired about the decrease in the number of Turkish Cypriots, the country's president explained that currently, the country is home to many nationalities. The total number of officially residing individuals in the country is 410,000. The president is aware that questions about the population of Turkish Cypriots arise from time to time. However, he emphasized that he does not see it as a problem since a large number of the island's indigenous inhabitants hold citizenship from other countries, notably the United Kingdom, Austria, and Turkey.
