In Northern Cyprus, temperatures of 35–38°C are expected from August 30 to September 5.
The Meteorology Department forecasts that during the period of August 30–September 5, the territory of Northern Cyprus will be under the influence of a low-pressure field and a warm, relatively humid air mass. Predominantly clear or partly cloudy weather is expected; in the morning hours, fog may occur in some areas.

The maximum air temperature in inland regions will be around 35–38°C, and on the coast about 31–34°C. Winds will blow from the south and west: in the first days of the period, occasional wind strengthening is expected, followed by a weakening to moderate levels.
For residents, this means an increased risk of heat stress. It is recommended to avoid intense physical activity outdoors during the hottest hours whenever possible, to drink water regularly, to monitor the condition of the elderly, children, and pets, and to plan outdoor work taking into account the wind forecast. Updates and official recommendations should be followed in the announcements of the Meteorology Department.
