On April 23, in Northern Cyprus, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel received students from Şehit Yalçın Primary School and held a symbolic Cabinet meeting chaired by children.

In his welcoming speech, Ünal Üstel noted the importance of children's participation in the country's life and wished them success, emphasizing that tomorrow's children will shape political and social life. The meeting was held in the format of project presentations: schoolchildren took turns in the ministerial seats and voiced practical initiatives.

Ela İnce, who temporarily took the Prime Minister's seat, proposed striving for self-sufficiency, supporting domestic production, developing solar energy, ensuring high-speed internet in every home and school, free educational courses, forest conservation, and safe roads. Yusufcan Alp called for lower airfares and increased tourism advertising. Salih Alp spoke about the need for savings and the redistribution of funds to support priority sectors.

Mini-medical centers in villages, strengthening food security, digitalization of government institutions, and investment in transport and infrastructure were the main proposals voiced by the young "ministers." The visit was accompanied by school director Gönül Özalp and teacher Ayşe Yücel.
