Roadworks begin on the mountain road in the Kyrenia region
The Department of Highways has announced the start of work on the mountain road (Dağ Yolu) in the Kyrenia region.
This refers to the section between the Acapulco junction and the Beşparmak Bufavento restaurant, where road construction and resurfacing began today.
According to the department, work is being carried out on the stretch of road between kilometers 8+900 and 19+300 on the Nicosia – Famagusta / Değirmenlik / Kyrenia – Esentepe route.
In this regard, drivers are urged to move with extreme caution, reduce speed, and follow road signs and traffic controllers' instructions.
Restrictions will remain in place until further notice.
