According to the Meteorological Department of the TRNC, until September 1 the maximum air temperature will remain within 36–39°C in inland areas and around 31–34°C on the coast. Winds are expected to blow mainly from the south and west, locally moderate, sometimes strong.

Such temperatures increase the health risks for vulnerable groups: elderly people, children, and those with chronic illnesses. It is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak heat hours, drink more water, wear hats and use sunscreen, and stay in cool indoor spaces whenever possible.

Due to the combination of high temperatures and wind, the risk of fires in natural areas and open spaces increases. Residents are advised not to light fires, to follow fire safety rules, and to monitor announcements from firefighters and local authorities.
