Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent to Host "Iftar Sofrası" in Lefkoşa Starting February 19
The Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent has announced that the "Warm Winter Mornings" project in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus, will conclude on February 18, and starting February 19, the "Iftar Sofrası" (Iftar Table) will be organized at the Lefkoşa Terminal Center for the entire month of Ramadan.
According to the organization, the project was implemented with the participation of volunteers and youth branch members. The mobile catering point operated on weekdays from 06:30 to 08:30 for two months.
As part of the project, approximately 13,000 portions of hot soup, bread, tea, and pastries were distributed to representatives of various groups—from students and workers to entrepreneurs and retirees.
During Ramadan, the "Iftar Sofrası" will be set up at the Lefkoşa Terminal Center. It is noted that Iftar dinners will be provided to residents throughout the month.
