Choirs from Northern Cyprus perform at Orange Blossom Festival in Adana
The Bahar Esintileri Sanat Derneği choir and the Ahenk Turkish music choir of the Çatalköy–Esentepe municipality represented Northern Cyprus at the Adana Portakal Çiçeği Festivali in Turkey.
As part of the festival, which took place on April 3–5, the groups gave three concerts in Atatürk and Merkez parks. A total of 68 artists participated in the performances, accompanied by an orchestra.
Under the direction of conductor Bahar Gökhan, the choirs performed Cypriot songs and Turkish music pieces, with the audience actively singing along.
During an official reception at the Adana Mayor's office, choir members were presented with commemorative plaques and flags. The Mayor of Çatalköy–Esentepe, Ceyhun Kırok, also attended the festival.
