Brawl at NEU Drift Race: Athlete's License Temporarily Suspended
Following a brawl that occurred during a drift competition at the Near East University (NEU), the North Cyprus Motorsports Federation (KKTOK) has initiated disciplinary proceedings.
The incident took place on March 15 around 18:00 at the campus drift track. Following the event, the KKTOK Board of Directors decided to refer the case to the Disciplinary Committee.
As part of the investigation, one athlete's license has been temporarily suspended pending a final decision.
The investigation officially began on March 17, during which the committee intends to examine all circumstances of the incident in detail.
Disciplinary Committee Chair Selin Reis stated that a decision will be made following the review, and all parties, as well as the media, will be notified.
