Man Rescued in Limassol After Car Plunges off Cliff

A rescue operation in Limassol has successfully concluded after a man's car plunged off a cliff. The vehicle, with the man inside, fell from a height of 10 meters into a ravine.

According to the police press office, the incident occurred early this morning. The 49-year-old man called the police himself and requested assistance. Authorities, along with the fire service and civil defense, responded to the scene.

The rescue operation was successful. The injured man was retrieved from the ravine and taken to a hospital in Limassol. Preliminary assessments indicate that the man did not sustain serious injuries.

It was reported earlier that a 30-year-old man in Limassol survived after falling into an 80-meter ravine on a racing motorcycle. He managed to call for help himself.
