Cyprus diagnostic center allegedly performs MRIs on animals in the evenings
Questions have arisen regarding animal examinations being conducted during evening hours at a diagnostic center in Cyprus.
According to reported information, the facility allegedly accepts animals for MRI scans after 20:00 via a back entrance. A dog owner was reportedly given an evening appointment and asked to use a non-central entrance, with staff clarifying if the animal would be on a leash.
According to the claimant, the cost of the examination was 410 euros, paid in cash.
In addition to the actual use of human diagnostic equipment for animals, the payment method has drawn attention, as it is reported that cash is required for such services.
The Ministry of Health stated that no official complaint has been received yet. If one is filed, the situation will be investigated in due course.
