The average salary in Cyprus has reached 2,224 euros
According to a report published by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat), the monthly earnings of employees in the country average 2,224 euros.
It is also noted that, adjusted for seasonal fluctuations, the estimated average gross income for the third quarter of 2023 will be 2,371 euros, which is 1.4% higher than in the second quarter of 2023.
The average monthly earnings of men (gross) in the third quarter are estimated at 2,390 euros. Women, on average, earn 2,015 euros.
When comparing these figures with the third quarter of the previous year, the average monthly earnings for men increased by 6.1%, and for women, it increased by 6.2%.
It was previously reported that the minimum wage in Cyprus will soon increase from 940 to 1,000 euros per month.
