The dead fish were discovered on the beach on Tuesday and Wednesday. Upon receiving the distress signal, department personnel immediately went to the scene to collect samples for further investigation.

According to a statement from the Fisheries Department, preliminary data suggests that the dead fish are a type of sea bream weighing between 800 g and 1 kg on average. It is presumed that the fish originated from a nearby aquaculture farm.

Currently, specialists are determining how exactly the dead fish ended up on the beach. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Furthermore, efforts are underway to collect and dispose of the dead fish from the sea. However, foaming may be observed on the beach in the coming days.
