Four suspects in the murder of the criminal authority Tanasis Kalogeropoulos will appear together for the first time before the Limassol District Court. Today marks the expiration of their detention period, and the case will be officially registered in the Criminal Court.

According to local media reports, it is expected that all four will be requested to remain in custody as defendants in the central prisons. However, their lawyers may contest this decision.

Furthermore, today's hearing will once again examine the roles of each of the four defendants in the high-profile criminal case, and a trial start date will be set.

It is noted that yesterday, investigators in the case of the murder of the criminal authority went to the Legal Service, where they received instructions on further actions.

Recall that the high-profile contract killing took place in Limassol on the morning of October 30th. The 55-year-old Tanasis Kalogeropoulos was shot by unknown assailants.

Presumably, the perpetrators set up an ambush for the victim, as he used to go to the Germasoyia area to swim in the sea every morning. He was shot in his car with an AK-47 assault rifle.

The police arrested four suspects aged 21, 22, 41, and 44. They are charged with murder, intentional homicide, possession, transportation, and use of firearms.
