170 Illegal Migrants Arrive in Cyprus, Including 27 Unaccompanied Children

Three boats carrying illegal migrants have reached the shores of Cyprus. The coast guard spotted the vessels near Cape Greco, and they carried a total of 170 people, including 27 children without parents.

On board the first boat, noticed around 14:15, there were 76 individuals. The second vessel, observed around 16:20, had an additional 19 migrants. The third boat was discovered at 17:30, and later, it was washed ashore. According to the police, there were 75 people on board.

In total, there were 170 migrants on the three boats: 106 men, 18 women, and 46 children, with 27 of them being unaccompanied by parents.

All the data of the arriving migrants were recorded at Ayia Napa Harbor, after which they were transferred to the Pournara Reception Center.
