In a joint proclamation, Aegean Airlines and Cyprus Airways have disclosed the inking of a substantial and enduring ACMI agreement. The national aviation carrier of Cyprus is set to lease two Airbus A320 aircraft, inclusive of crew and attendants, to the preeminent Greek airline.

The inaugural aircraft is slated to integrate into the Aegean fleet come December, with the lease for the second aircraft commencing by the denouement of March 2024.

This collaborative alliance stands as a symbiotic venture, empowering the Cypriot carrier to augment its fleet and derive advantages from heightened economies of scale. Simultaneously, Aegean is poised to attain an efficacious means of escalating capacity within the ensuing 12 months.

The fruition of this agreement owes credit to the adept insights and aviation proficiency of ACMI specialists at Zela Aviation.

Established in 2006, Zela Aviation has been fervently engaged in the realms of aircraft leasing, maintenance, chartering, and sales. The purview of its operations spans Cyprus, Greece, and the United Kingdom, delivering an all-encompassing suite of services to a clientele dispersed across Europe, Asia, Africa, and both North and South America.
