Fight at a Nicosia nightclub: three injured
In one of Nicosia’s nightclubs, an ordinary evening ended in a fight. A dispute between two groups of visitors first arose inside the club and then escalated into a mass brawl.
According to police, the conflict began with an exchange of remarks between people who knew each other. The situation quickly heated up, and the verbal argument turned into a physical confrontation. The participants ran outside, where the fight continued beyond the venue.
As a result of the incident, three Greek Cypriots were injured and taken to hospital. They received medical assistance and were later discharged.
Law enforcement believes that personal relationships between the participants were one of the reasons for the escalation. The circumstances of the incident are still being investigated.
