In İskele, a construction company employee is suspected of stealing $73,600
In İskele, police detained a 42-year-old woman (D.K.), who worked at a construction company, on suspicion of a major theft of funds.
According to the police bulletin, between October 24, 2023, and October 1, 2025, the woman received a total of $73,600 from two different individuals. The money was intended for the payment of monthly housing contributions and was supposed to be transferred to the company’s account.
However, the investigation determined that the suspect did not deposit the funds into the corporate account and misappropriated them for herself.
After the incident was reported to the police, an investigation was launched, during which the woman was arrested.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
