Epic "Fire" to Be Showcased in Girne for the 100th Anniversary of the Turkish Revolution
As part of the Girne Arkın Group Fest24, the centennial epic “Fire,” directed by Barış Erden, will be presented by the State Theaters of Ankara. This remarkable performance is set to take place on Wednesday, September 25, at the Girne Amphitheater.
The play tells the inspiring story of Turkey’s struggle for independence under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, marking 100 years since that pivotal moment in history. It portrays a nation that, despite facing hunger and poverty on the Anatolian lands, filled with pain, loss, and defeat, never backs down—even in the face of the impossible.
Tickets for this powerful performance can be purchased online at www.girnebelediyesi.com, at all Telsim stores, in the new service building of the Girne Municipality, and at the entrance on the day of the show.
