Gönyeli–Alayköy launches electric bike system
The Gönyeli–Alayköy Municipality has announced the launch of an electric bike system.
According to Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu, the tender is complete, the contract with the contractor has been signed, and the project is moving into the implementation phase.
In the first phase, 100 electric bikes will be placed at various points throughout the city. Authorities expect this to provide an alternative to traditional transport and help reduce road congestion.
Simultaneously, work is underway to install stations, set up equipment, and prepare the infrastructure.
The project is positioned as an eco-friendly and modern mode of transportation aimed at making the city more livable.
The system is expected to launch soon, with usage details to be announced later.
