In Famagusta, legal proceedings have been initiated against a woman for walking an unregistered dog without a muzzle after the pet scratched a five-year-old child.

According to the police, the incident took place yesterday around 8 a.m. The 26-year-old woman, a resident of an apartment building in Famagusta, was walking her dog without taking the necessary safety precautions. As a result, the dog scratched the left leg of a five-year-old child who was nearby. It has been confirmed that the woman had not obtained the required license for the dog.

The police report stated, "The owner failed to take the necessary preventive measures to avoid any potential danger the dog could cause."

Following the incident, legal action was taken against the dog owner, and the case is currently under investigation.
