In Famagusta, a 25-year-old man died from carbon monoxide poisoning
The cause of death of 25-year-old Kan Bereketoglu, whose body was found in his home the day before, has been established in Famagusta.
According to the police, the young man died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Further investigation revealed that a lit barbecue grill had been brought into the house to heat the room. The emitted carbon monoxide led to fatal poisoning.
The police continue to investigate the circumstances of the tragedy and once again urge citizens to exercise caution when using open flames indoors.
