ITB Berlin Fair is the largest international tourism and trade exhibition held in Berlin, bringing together participants and visitors in the tourism and travel sector, offering necessary services and showing key development trends.

The fair will feature hotels, professional tourism organizations, tour operators, airlines, car rental firms, congress centers, information and communication technologies, and international tourism associations.

In a statement, the ministry noted that the ITB Berlin Fair aims to familiarize with the tourism opportunities of Northern Cyprus, further strengthen ties with the global tourism sector, and ensure that the country is chosen for travel by qualified tourists from around the world.

"We expect to reach the 2019 level of income and number of tourists by 2024 through increasing our awareness in the international market," the TRNC Ministry of Tourism said in a statement.

The TRNC stand features tourism agencies, hotels, guides, representatives of health tourism, restaurateurs, and other participants in the tourism market.

The statement says that the tourism sector in Northern Cyprus is in the process of recovery and is developing in a positive direction.

"We expect that from the perspective of global tourism, the sector, which began to recover, will receive a visible boost in 2024," the statement said.
