The tender for the construction of a hospital in Güzelyurt will be awarded in April
The Prime Minister of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar, announced that next month a tender will be held for the construction of a hospital in Güzelyurt. A modern medical facility for the residents of the city and neighboring Lefke will be put into operation in a short period.
On March 14, the head of the government received the president of the Cyprus Turkish Medical Association, Ahmet Ozan, and union members.
During the meeting, held in the Prime Minister's Hall of Fame, the union leader handed over a letter to the Prime Minister describing the healthcare problems and proposing solutions.
In his speech at the meeting, Ersin Tatar noted that the professional holiday, March 14 - Medicine Day, is of particular importance and reminded that he is also a representative of the medical community.
"We are making every effort to provide our people with better quality medical services. We have been aware of these problems since the day we came to the government, and we continue to work diligently to solve them one by one," said the Prime Minister.
In particular, next month, a tender will be held for the construction of a new modern hospital in Güzelyurt.
The Prime Minister also added that equipment preparation for the Kyrenia hospital has already been completed, and medical centers will be built in Serdarlı, Maraş, Pamuklu, and Lapta.
