TRNC Businesses Required to Pay Employees' Salaries Through Banks
The Minister of Finance of the TRNC, Özdemir Berova, announced that rental payments and salaries for employees at businesses with more than three employees will now be processed through banks.
The minister made this announcement during the "Objektif" program on Kıbrıs Postası TV. According to him, tenants will now send all rental payments to landlords via bank transfers.
Businesses employing more than three individuals will also transfer their employees' salaries through banks.
The minister emphasized that this initiative is crucial for increasing state revenue.
"This will enable us to collect taxes more efficiently and will increase retained income," stated the minister.
