May 16th is expected to bring clear weather with no precipitation in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of TRNC, the region will experience high pressure and cool, moist air on Thursday, May 16th. Meteorologists are predicting clear weather without any precipitation.

The air temperature has returned to seasonal climatic norms. In most areas, it will fluctuate between 25 to 30°C. The wind is northwesterly and of moderate strength. No storms are expected today.

Two weather warnings are in effect in Northern Cyprus. There is a possibility of forest fires, and the average level of ultraviolet radiation remains. It's advisable not to stay under the sun for more than 20 minutes, especially from 11:00 to 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.

Western Coast: Lefke – 27°C, Güzelyurt – 29°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 27°C, Iskele – 28°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 28°C.
